I know that I haven't really been using this blog, but I've decided to be better and to post a lot more often. There have been a lot of exciting changes going on in my life lately. I just got home from my first year away at school (go BYU Cougars!!) and my older sister just got married. School was amazing. I made a lot of new friends and even a best friend.
I got to learn how to be on my own for the first time in my life and it was amazing to see how much I can really accomplish in just one day when I put my mind to it. I have learned so much about myself as a person and how to deal with everyday situations on my own. It was hard at times to be away from my family, but I had Heather with me and so when I got home sick it was nice to have her close by.
She got married just a little bit over a week ago on May 8. It was an amazing wedding and I couldn't be happier! Her and KR are so perfect together and I know that they will be very happy. I have to admit that it has been kind of hard "letting her go." I know I shouldn't see it that way, but for a while I couldn't see it any other way; however, now I can happily say that I am gaining a brother not losing a sister. No matter how cliche that may sound it is true. I love her so much and she has been such an example to me in my life. I would be lost without her. She is the best big sister that anyone could ever ask for and I know that her new life with KR will be an amazing adventure. I love you guys!!
